“Galaxy of visions” art exhibit was inspired by the mass protests in HongKong. Artist Erik Cheung’s work may be very abstract but it holds deep threads in traditional Chinese art forms and the noble silenced expression he feels connects him with the rest of the world. These abstracts may be of personal nature, but all art is. What is interesting in this body of work is that this kind of personal was evoked by what was happening in the public in Hong Kong.
